You’d better believe that wedding season in Wisconsin is in full swing! Already it’s been filled with rustic, elegant Milwaukee-area weddings, a ceremony overlooking Lake Michigan in Door County, a stunning barn wedding, and most importantly LOTS of smiling, happy, crazy-in-love brides + grooms.

 

This is my absolute dream job for so many reasons, but mostly because of the lives + marriages that I get to document, the authentic moments of a wedding day, and tears from parents (and high-fives from friends) as newlyweds stroll back up the aisle. When couples decide to work with me, they decide that the entire wedding-day experience matters to them. You’re choosing an experience (a very specific type of experience), not just a photographer. A naturalistic approach to document moments as they happen, prompt you to interact with each other during our brief portrait time together creating organic portraits of real moments, and creativity + simplicity that translates into timeless images of your first day of marriage.

You can expect an experience based on clear + frequent communication, walking you through the process of working together for your wedding photography. As a millennial myself (as are most of my clients), I highly value quick responses, so I personally respond to all communication within 1-2 days. I send Informational Guides to my couples at different points leading up to the wedding day, explaining + outlining what you can expect from me, how to prepare for your engagement session + wedding day, and how to handle wedding-day timelines in order to get the absolute most enjoyment out of your wedding day.

From the first time we speak, to the booking process, to the engagement session, to planning the timeline for the day, to the wedding day, to the image delivery + image sharing afterwards, I want my couples to feel so well cared for, understood, and completely at ease so that you feel as prepared + relaxed on your wedding day as possible! My couples lead very busy and fast-paced lives, and they need clear + regular communication to anticipate their needs seemingly before they arise, and I become a close + trusted confidant as a result.

 

All of this translates to an effortless experience on your part, very honest and open communication from me walking you through each step of the process, and ultimately our time together results in authentic + timeless photographs that remind you how much love + laughter surrounded you on your wedding day for years to come.
