I feel compelled to begin this post (rather than end it) with a note of thanks to my calligrapher Hope Scott and my web developer Dustin Davis. Not only did these two creatives do excellent work for me, but they continually worked + communicated with me to achieve exactly what I had in mind for my new site + branding. My online home needed a refresh to make it simple to navigate while keeping a clean + minimal design that will be timeless, true to my personality and style, and, let’s be honest, pretty to view.
This inspiration board below (images via Pinterest) guided our process and served as a helpful tool during design. I wanted pull in my love of nature and natural settings, minimalism + white space, as well as incorporating the elegant logo written in an organic calligraphy style. I couldn’t be more pleased with the result!
Thank you so much for visiting, and if you have any comments on my new site, I’d love to hear from you! laurelynsavannah(at)gmail.com
Next week I’ll be sharing more of my paper goods + brand reach, and also check out my recent post featuring my hardcover albums + handcrafted print boxes, both made in the Midwest.
