Morgan + Michael immediately put everyone around them at ease. They’re the kind of couple you’d want to have dinner with every single week, and not only because Morgan is an editor at at food publication and knows all the BEST spots. Both of them are so warm + welcoming, you can’t help but want to be around them! I got to meet the two of them in person for their engagement session in Chicago before their wedding day, so I could hardly wait for their June wedding day at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center in Milwaukee.

A Rustic + Elegant Wedding Day at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center

With the help of Blue Fancy Events, Morgan + Michael planned and pulled off an incredible day! They got ready at Morgan’s parents home and then opted for a First Look once we arrived at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. Easily my favorite part of the day because of how sweet + excited these two are around each other!

Belle Fiori outdid themselves with all the lush, white + blush florals for the day, adding touches of elegance and romance to the already organic feel of the day. Morgan + Michael chose to have an outdoor evening ceremony, and since we took almost all of their portraits before the ceremony (perks of having a First Look!), they got to relax + enjoy the cocktail hour with all their guests!

Dinner and dancing was perfectly nestled into the Nature Center in the main building. Since the walls are almost all windows and surrounded by trees, it felt exactly like Morgan’s vision of a romantic + candlelit ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ style reception.
