I could begin by telling you about Sally + Fletcher’s wedding day, but I’ll start before that. While it was a romantic, enchanted forest-inspired day, executed perfectly by Blue Fancy Events, their beautiful story begins long before their wedding day.
Among the images you’ll notice a blue sparrow pin that Fletcher’s wearing. This was a gift from Sally before he was deployed overseas, serving our country as an Army Ranger. Sally described it to me saying, “the swallow pin was my representative in war and was his guide home to me (swallows always return home). He wore it inside his body armor.” Fletcher wore it every day. After exchanging handwritten letters for months on end, he finally got to come home to Sally.
Sally + Fletcher’s dream was to be married surrounded by nature and those they love most, under the tall trees at Sally’s parents’ home and property. Their outdoor ceremony was perfect in every way, and dressed up with lush, colorful flowers and greenery from Generations Wedding Flowers. Afterwards guests were driven or walked to the cocktail hour and tented reception, lit by one of the prettiest sunsets of the summer. Sally described the as inspired by an Enchanted Forest like in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and as you’ll see, dreamy is the perfect word to describe their wedding day. I know it’s a day that both Sally + Fletcher (and their families) dreamed of for years.
Congratulations, Sally + Fletcher, and I’m so glad you’ll finally be together after loving each other long-distance for so long. You two are a joy to be with, and I want to wish you more days/months/years of happiness than you can count!
