Sarah + Zach have been together since college, and they finally tied the knot last summer in Madison, Wisconsin. They both went to college there, and it holds a deep meaning since their families are there as well. Both of Sarah + Zach’s families were involved in various ways to help plan and execute their day, and it was amazing to see everyone come together to create such a beautiful celebration!
Their day was the perfect sunny June day in Madison. Sarah + her bridesmaids (all dressed in a gorgeous light blue) got ready with her ladies at her parents’ home, and the energy in the house was unreal and filled with excitement! Then she + Zach opted to do a first look at the Ice Age Trail trailhead, where their backdrop was filled with stunning trees and gentle rolling hills. They exchanged vows at St. Maria Goretti, and then we headed to the State Capitol for their bridal party portraits before the celebration officially kicked off! Blackhawk Country Club has fantastic views of Lake Monona, one of the two large lakes in Madison. Sarah + Zach absolutely fell in love with the view, and they wanted to share that experience with all of their guests on their special day!
Wisconsin Bride Magazine also agreed that their wedding was outstanding, so you can find Sarah + Zach’s wedding published in the current Wisconsin Bride Magazine issue, on newsstands as of January 2019!
Congratulations again, Sarah + Zach, and thank you so much for trusting me to document your first day of marriage. It was such an honor to be alongside you all day, and meet your sweet families! Much love to you both, and wishing you SO many years of happiness surrounded by your family + friends.
