Emily + Sam’s winter wedding day at Cuvee in Milwaukee was so romantic! There’s just something about a cold winter day that makes love feel all the more cozy + sweet. These two opted to see each other before the ceremony, so we had a wonderfully private moment at the rooftop of the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel in the Third Ward. (A special shoutout to their team, they were fantastic with helping Emily and I coordinate their first look!)
Sam + Emily were married by their church’s small group leader and their minister, since their faith and church community here in Milwaukee is so important to them. It was a very meaningful moment, leaving hardly a dry eye in the room! After their heartfelt ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails (and champagne because…Cuvee) and Emily + Sam got to visit with all their friends and family! Once it came time for the reception, the staff had transformed the room from ceremony to the most gorgeous, warm, and inviting space you could imagine. Candlelight, greenery, and warm linens covered the room, and it was the best setting for their celebration!
Congratulations, Emily + Sam, and it was such an honor to document your first day of marriage! Wishing you two all the best, and countless happy moments together during your marriage journey!
