Bridget + Chris currently call California home, but they chose to come back to their home state to host their family + friends at beautiful Cuvee in Milwaukee! While we had never even met in person before they hired me, we got a chance to meet in person just a few months before their big day. Have you ever met a couple and felt instantly as if you had been friends for years? That was these two! They were not only warm + welcoming to me, but absolutely gushed about their friends, family, and their plans for a fun, unforgettable spring celebration that would officially join their two families.

So in May, on a perfectly sunny spring day, that’s exactly what happened! If there were any hiccups with the schedule or with their day in general, I certainly don’t remember because Bridget + Chris were nothing but smiles and genuine happiness ALL. DAY. LONG. From their sweet + private first look, easy-going portraits taking place all before the ceremony, to their heartfelt ceremony + relaxed cocktail hour, they did everything perfectly right for THEM. While first looks aren’t for everyone, it was absolutely the right move for these two, as they wanted to maximize the time with their guests, especially during cocktail hour.
