A home together. A rescue puppy. Two people who have been together for 10 years, and recently decided to make a commitment to forever. These all describe Erika + David, but beyond that they are SO much deeper. Erika is not only stunning, she’s selfless, a natural caregiver, and kind to everyone she meets. She’s not only smart + dedicated, she’s also the life of the party, an extrovert, and more fun as you get to know her. David is the perfect balance for Erika, he’s calm, cool + collected, and most importantly he adores Erika for exactly who she is. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect pair! Fair warning, prepare yourself to see a mariachi band, an industrial chic wedding, and a really fun dance party in this blog post!
Erika + David planned and planned for about 2 years leading up to the big day, and when it finally arrived we had the perfect June weather for their outdoor ceremony at Winnetka Community House. Somehow we dodged rain that day, and were able to visit one of their favorite spots for portraits, Lincoln Park. Afterwards we arrived (with a confetti toss, no less) at their celebration at Ignite Glass Studio! David is a dj, so as a surprise, Erika performed a dj set to kick off the evening of dancing. It was the perfect way to start the party, and these two danced the night away with their guests!
David + Erika, I can’t thank you enough for including me in your amazing wedding day. You planned such a family-centric, personal day to share with all of your guests, and everyone who attended was able to see the two of you reflected in every aspect of the celebration. It was a huge honor to be there with you for your wedding day, Erika + David, and congratulations on an already beautiful marriage! Cheers to many more happy + joyful years ahead of you!
