Kayla + Scott have been together for over 10 years (!!) and are finally exchanging vows this weekend! In celebration of that amazing milestone, here’s their sunset engagement session on Bradford Beach in Milwaukee.

The craziest part? A record-breaking thunderstorm crashed through the location for about 2 hours prior to our session. I’m talking the strongest storm we’ve had all summer, but these two drove over 2 hours and sat in traffic to do our session, so you better believe we wanted to make this work! I’m so glad we did, and our patience paid off.

We only had about 45 minutes before sunset, but because we planned the start time well ahead of sunset, we still got to catch an amazing sky and sunset. The clouds broke just as we were ending, and revealed a gorgeous cotton candy sky. WELL worth the wait, and thank you Kayla + Scott for your wonderful patience and trust.
