Beachfront Outer Banks Engagement Session

Kenna + Jackson’s love story has always included travel and long-distance love. They met overseas, and then dated long distance (opposite coasts, actually, from California and D.C.). You can tell how much they truly soak in every moment that they actually get to spend together. The pull between them felt magnetic, from the moment I met them! Relationship goals, to be sure. And just wait, their beachfront Outer Banks Engagement session will leave you speechless.

These two are getting married in Milwaukee at Villa Terrace, and my jaw dropped when they asked about a destination engagement session. I realize it’s not cool to sound as excited as I did, but I’m nothing if not honest (and excitable). At first they mentioned either California or D.C. because of where they both were, which are both beautiful and made total sense. Kenna asked me “How would you feel about the Outer Banks?” My immediate reaction was to envision a scene like out of a Nicholas Sparks novel — so a huge yes!

Jackson and Kenna have visited the Outer Banks before, and fell in love with the place, so that’s where we chose. I couldn’t have been happier with that choice, and it brought out the best in them. It also makes me even that much more excited to see them exchange their vows next summer. Kenna + Jackson, thank you from the bottom of my heart for flying me out to the Outer Banks. Your trust and time was the greatest gift. I can’t wait for next June!
