I knew Kara and Tyler’s wedding day was going to be special from the moment I met them. They are truly a team, and they shared with me about their summer wedding and, more importantly, their upcoming marriage with so much joy and unity. Kara is from the West Coast and Tyler is a Southern gentleman, but they gathered their loved ones from across the country in Milwaukee, the city where their love story has taken place, for their special day. They couldn’t have selected a more idyllic venue for the outdoor summer celebration—Ramhorn Farm is centuries old and has been exquisitely restored.

There are so many details to love about this wedding—Kara’s custom-made Alyssa Kristin gown, the colorful florals, and the touching vows they exchanged, to name just a few—but most of all, I think I’ll always remember the gracious hospitality Kara + Tyler expressed time and time again to their guests. They’re passionate about cooking and connecting with others over a meal (the kitchen-inspired details placed throughout the day perfectly nodded to that!), so having many of their family members and friends in one place was incredibly special to them. Those long farm tables made the evening feel a little bit like a family dinner that just so happened to take place on a gorgeous farm! Ice cream-topped cobbler in lieu of cake, as a nod to Tyler’s Southern roots, was the sweetest end to this joyful day.

Kara and Tyler, thank you for the honor of being part of the beginning of your marriage. Your love and the delight you find in one another is truly beautiful, and I’m so grateful to have been able to capture it!
