Their life and careers have lead them to Michigan, but Laura + Zach made the easy choice of returning to Milwaukee to get married! They met and fell in love here, and the city holds deep meaning to these two. Now it means even more as they tied the knot in May in an intimate, modern setting along Lake Michigan at Discovery World.
The Milwaukee Lakefront created the exact feel they were going for — outdoors and relaxed yet upscale and elegant. Discovery World affords gorgeous lake views that Laura + Zach were hoping for, and made for a stunning backdrop for their celebration! With the lake as inspiration, they tied in blues, greens, and neutral colors into their floral designs and decor, as well as a hint of blush for a touch of spring. I got a chance to talk with Laura about her stunning vision for the day, and I was equally excited to share the day with them + their families.
Yes, it was a gorgeous day because of all the work + planning that went into the day, but mostly it was an incredible start to their marriage because of the supportive people and all of the LOVE surrounding them in their celebration. I believe it’s true that happiness looks good on everyone, and positivity + graciousness never go out of style.
Laura + Zach, thank you from the bottom of my heart for entrusting me with your wedding day, all the images, laughs, and memories of your family bond will stick with me. It’s serving you that brings me the most joy ever in my work. Cheers to you two, all the adventures you have ahead of you, and many years of happy marriage! And anytime you want to bump into each other in Door County is absolutely okay with me!
