These two high school sweethearts are planning their wedding for this fall (exactly 5 years from when they started dating!), so we met at Retzer Nature Center to document their engagement!! Casey served our country in the US Army very recently, and Gretchen is now finally able to spend more time with him since they are in the same country :) I love that they wanted to incorporate his service and uniform into their engagement session, since it was a huge part of what brought them closer together despite being so many miles apart! Retzer is one of my favorite places of all time to photograph – it’s romantic and amazing in any season. If you’re looking for a rustic spot in the Milwaukee area for an engagement or wedding, I highly recommend you check it out!
