Leah & Kwame met in college and were immediately drawn to each other, and it’s no wonder why!! Leah has such a sweet and caring personality, and Kwame is bubbling over with enthusiasm for life and a great sense of humor! Together they make an absolutely perfect match :)

 

After dating for almost 5 years, they officially decided to tie the knot and I was overjoyed to be asked to document their intimate, sunrise wedding on the Lakefront!! We were in a gorgeous spot overlooking the lake and situated right next to the Discovery World Museum. Leah and Kwame wanted a non-traditional, relaxed wedding and so Leah assembled her own bouquet of fresh flowers from Whole Foods, wore a favorite silver dress, and Kwame wore a stylish yet casual grey seersucker suit. If you know these two, you know that these non-traditional elements fit them wonderfully. What a beautiful expression of their personalities!

 

Even though I’m usually not much of a morning person, after photographing this type of meaningful, AMAZING vow exchange at sunrise, I’ve decided I can’t wait for the opportunity to do another! Congratulations you two, and I wish you many many more years of happiness together!
